We were sent this patch that affects (x)dvipdfmx. Peter confirmed that it works fine with libpng 1.2.x too (what is currently in TL), so please apply to your upstream sources ... (or get it from TL now). http://repos.archlinux.org/wsvn/packages/texlive-bin/trunk/libpng14.patch Thanks, Karl
